Debi’s Stupendous Marriage

I wanted to share another Stupendous Marriage Story with you this week. Its from Debi Walter from the Romantic Vineyard blog. (check it out if you haven’t been, but make sure you come back for their great story!

Debi’s Story:

When we were married, I was only 19 and Tom was 24. We purposed from day one that divorce was not an option. No matter what happened, we were committing to each other literally “until death do us part!”

Left to ourselves this type of covenant would be impossible to keep. However, there are two little words that make all the difference in the world:

BUT GOD!

God in His kindness has helped us learn from our mistakes, change our bad habits, repent when needed, grow in wisdom and learn to share what we’ve been given with others. He pours grace into our marriage and we pour grace out upon each other. The overflow glorifies Him.

This is our secret to a Stupendous Marriage – But God! He has been faithful to us, which gives us faith for others. It’s all about HIM!

We are now at the beginning of our 32nd year together!
