Motivation for Today: I’m About to Come Alive

I am a big fan of Train.

I saw them as they were just getting their legs on mainstream radio.

Since I was a music director at a radio station at the time, I was asked by a music executive to go check out this band in Birmingham, AL where they were going to be playing a local club.

They weren’t ON radio yet, but they had a huge turnout. And when the crowd started singing along with them during “Meet Virginia” – a song which I barely knew, I believed that they were going to be huge.

One of their latest, that really speaks to me today is “I’m About to Come Alive”
