Work on your marriage — Don’t put it off!

Many times when I sit down to begin writing, I get distracted.

I end up on Facebook looking to see if I can find anyone else I know, or connect to two more relatives, or work on the Marry Blogger page (I’d encourage you to become a fan!).

Maybe I’ll tweet a bit.

I’ll check my other blog, respond to a comment, change a widget, or get a new plugin.

By the time I get around to it, the time I actually had to write a post is gone. I messed around so much that I didn’t achieve my goal.

This happens in Marriage

Did you mean to spend time with your mate?  Did you intend to have a date night?  Life gets in the way, and stupid little things eat away our time.

We mean well, but we just don’t get around to it.

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of scheduling,

But it DOES make a difference.

Schedule times when you will focus on each other

IE. D-A-T-E  N-I-G-H-T-S

IE. Nights where the computers go OFF, and you SIT AND TALK.

Make the time to be intentional with your marriage.

Don’t let things get in the way of the most important relationship in your life.
