Ask about her thoughts from church, synagogue, mosque the last time you went

Its easy to disconnect and not talk at all. I have found that a great way to get conversation going, is to ask questions about church. Its easy because:

- We both Go (just being there with your spouse creates a connection with each other – because it is something you are doing together!)

- We both have different feelings about what was said

- We receive the message in different ways

- It gives us common topics to talk about

- We like to hear what moved the other person

Whatever your place of worship is, we have found that this is a great way to connect, and start a conversation that could be picked up, and continued, several times during the week.

Let’s get back to the 118 Ways to Help Communication in Marriage
