  • Its refreshing to see other couples out there doing things like this, and sharing their story and experience. Great challenge! I am sure you're developing quite the list of positive things. All we need to do is pay attention. Thanks Stu.
  • Thanks for the comment Filipe!! Paying attention is key!!
  • This is great Stu. Love the challenge vs resolution and agree with your wife on this. The video is great as it allows me to see a glimpse of who you guys are and how you relate to each other. I'm looking forward to the next 3 weeks of your challenge. Keep it up and make sure you are lifting your wife up to God. Helps me to remember how lucky I am. Blessings.
  • Great video - awesome challenge! Refreshing from the usual resolutions that your lovely wife mentioned (and WOW! is she pretty! - but you already know that). In the marriage ministry we're a part of, we challenge husbands to give their wives 20 hugs, smiles, kisses and compliments every day. I know that 20 of each of these sounds like a lot and most don't do all of that in a day; the idea is to get them to do any number of these as they haven't been doing any of them at all. As you know, Stu, we encourage husbands to go first in the marriage - when he does and initiates positive love towards his wife, she'll respond in kind. Over at Love Actually, there was a cute idea that sprang from the author: ask your spouse to pick a number between 1 and 50. Tell him/her that they'll receive a prize if they guess correctly. When they make their guess, you make a big deal over the fact that they guessed the correct number (of course, your "number" is whatever they guess). The prize? As many kisses as they guessed!

Something fun to add to your challenge!
  • I think it would be surprising how - if it really became part of our life to show affection - that 20 wouldn't seem like that much!!
